Commercial Grounds Maintenance
Reliable, scheduled grounds care for residential developments, commercial premises, communal grounds and community spaces across Gloucestershire and the surrounding area.
From regular grass cutting and hedge maintenance to border care and seasonal clearance, every maintenance programme is planned around the individual site and the standards required.
Scheduled Grounds Care Built Around Your Site
Commercial grounds need a clear and dependable maintenance plan. Before recommending a schedule, we visit the site to understand its size, layout, access, level of use and the standard of presentation required.
Maintenance can be arranged weekly, fortnightly or at agreed seasonal intervals. The programme may include different frequencies for different tasks, with grass cutting carried out regularly during the growing season and hedge, shrub, border and clearance work planned at appropriate points throughout the year.
Wherever practical, the same team returns regularly and becomes familiar with the property. This helps us notice developing problems, understand which areas require the most attention and maintain a consistent standard across the site.
The agreed programme can also be reviewed as the grounds develop, the seasons change or the requirements of residents, managers or site owners alter.

What Our Commercial Grounds Maintenance Can Include
Every site has different priorities, so the scope and frequency of work are agreed individually. A commercial grounds-maintenance programme can include:
Grass Cutting and Edging
Regular mowing of communal lawns, playing fields and larger grassed areas, together with edging and strimming around boundaries, trees, paths and site features. Equipment is selected according to the size, access and condition of each area.
Hedge and Shrub Maintenance
Scheduled trimming and pruning to keep hedges and planted areas healthy, controlled and presentable. Work is timed around plant growth, seasonal requirements and nesting wildlife.
Borders and Weed Management
Routine weeding, cutting back and maintenance of planted borders, shrub beds and other landscaped areas. Where borders have declined, we can also recommend practical improvements or replacement planting.
Seasonal and Leaf Clearance
Leaf collection, seasonal cutting back and the removal of fallen vegetation or other green debris arising from our work. Visit schedules can be adjusted where particular sites require additional attention during autumn or periods of strong growth.
Pond Margins and Wildlife Areas
Practical maintenance of pond margins, balance ponds and less formal areas where vegetation needs to be managed without removing their ecological value. More involved restoration or improvement work can be assessed and quoted separately.
Planting and Site Improvements
Replacement planting, soil improvement and smaller enhancements to tired or unsuccessful landscaped areas. Additional work is discussed and quoted separately from the regular maintenance schedule.
The exact service is agreed following a site visit, allowing the maintenance programme to reflect the property, budget and standards required.
Sites We Maintain
Our commercial grounds-maintenance service can be adapted to different types of property and outdoor space, including:
Residential Developments and Managed Estates
Communal lawns, planted areas, hedges, boundaries and other shared outdoor spaces requiring consistent presentation throughout the year.
Retirement Communities
Regular, dependable maintenance of communal gardens and grounds, with consideration given to residents, access and the way the outdoor areas are used.
Playing Fields and Recreation Grounds
Scheduled grass cutting, perimeter strimming and practical maintenance of larger open areas and their surroundings.
Churches and Community Sites
Maintenance of lawns, hedges, planted areas and boundaries around churches, halls and other community buildings.
Business Premises and Managed Properties
Grounds care that helps maintain a tidy, professional first impression for visitors, customers, staff and residents.
Larger Private Grounds
Regular maintenance programmes for larger gardens, estates and properties where additional equipment and a team-based service are required.
If your site does not fit neatly into one of these categories, please contact us. The most important consideration is whether we can provide the appropriate service safely, reliably and at a practical frequency.

How Commercial Contracts Work
Initial Discussion
The process begins with a conversation about the property, its location, the areas requiring maintenance and the standard you need us to maintain. If an existing specification, site plan or maintenance schedule is available, we can review that as part of the enquiry.
Site Visit
We visit the grounds to assess their size, condition, access and any practical restrictions. This also allows us to understand how the site is used, identify different maintenance areas and discuss suitable visit frequencies.
Written Maintenance Proposal
Following the visit, we provide a written proposal setting out the agreed work, expected frequency and price. Seasonal tasks can be incorporated into the programme, while larger improvements or additional work can be quoted separately.
Scheduled Maintenance
Once the proposal is accepted, visits are arranged according to the agreed schedule. Wherever practical, the same team attends regularly and becomes familiar with the property, its priorities and the people responsible for managing it.
Ongoing Communication and Review
We maintain contact with the nominated site representative and raise any developing problems that require attention. The programme can be reviewed if the grounds, budget or required standard changes over time.
Commercial contracts are generally considered within approximately one hour of Cheltenham, although the practical working area will depend on the size, value and frequency of the contract.
