Regular Care, Planned Around Your Garden
Regular garden maintenance works best when the same team returns throughout the year and becomes familiar with the garden. We learn which areas need the most attention, how the plants respond through the seasons and what matters most to you.
Visits can be arranged weekly or fortnightly, depending on the size of the garden and the level of maintenance required. At the beginning, we discuss your priorities and agree how the available time should be used. This might include lawns and edging, border maintenance, weeding, pruning, hedge care or seasonal tidying.
The work will naturally change during the year. Some visits may concentrate on keeping growth under control, while others allow time for pruning, improving borders or preparing the garden for the season ahead. It is a flexible service rather than the same fixed checklist on every visit.
What Our Garden Maintenance Can Include
Every garden requires something slightly different, but regular maintenance can include:
Lawns and Edges
Regular mowing, strimming and edging to keep lawns and the surrounding garden looking properly maintained. More involved treatments and renovation work are available through our specialist lawn care service.
Borders and Weeding
Weeding, deadheading, cutting back and general border care, with attention given to the plants as well as the overall appearance of the garden.
Shrubs, Roses and Perennials
Pruning and seasonal plant care carried out at the appropriate time, helping maintain healthy growth, flowering and a balanced shape.
Hedges, Climbers and Fruit Trees
Routine hedge trimming and the pruning of garden climbers, wisteria and established fruit trees. We do not undertake large-tree work or tree surgery.
Seasonal Garden Work
Spring and autumn tidy-ups, leaf clearance, preparation for winter and dealing with the jobs that naturally arise as the garden changes through the year.
Planting and Garden Improvements
Replacing unsuccessful plants, refreshing tired borders, improving soil and making practical planting changes that help the garden develop over time.

Getting Started with Regular Garden Maintenance
The first step is a visit to your garden. This gives us an opportunity to understand its size and condition, discuss what you would like help with and identify the work that will need regular attention.
We can then recommend a suitable visit frequency and agree the priorities for the available time. For most regular gardens, this will mean weekly or fortnightly visits, although the arrangement will depend on the size of the garden and the level of care required.
If a garden is heavily overgrown, it may need an initial tidy-up before regular maintenance begins. We can discuss this during the first visit and provide a separate quotation where necessary.
Once the maintenance arrangement is agreed, visits are scheduled regularly and the work naturally changes with the seasons. Priorities can also be reviewed as the garden develops or your requirements change.
